EVALUATION: The Hocking Valley Community Residential Center Reentry Program was evaluated by Latessa and Holsinger (1999) as part of an evaluation of the Ohio Department of Youth Services' (DYS) Community Correctional Facilities.

POPULATION: The Youth Re-Entry Transition Program serves both males and females ages 14 to 21 being released on parole from an Ohio Department of Youth Services' correctional institution.
The Ohio Department of Youth Services is one of the top ten largest juvenile justice agencies in the country with an average daily population of around 1800 and an annual operating budget around a quarter of a billion dollars.
